The purpose of this system is to encourage Texas public schools to better manage their financial resources to provide the maximum allocation possible for direct instructional purposes.
The FIRST rating is calculated using 15 financial indicators. Lumberton ISD scored the maximum points possible in all 15 indicators for a District score of 100. Ratings for the 2019-2020 year are based on annual reports provided to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
